VVG Foundation

We are a public charitable organization established in the year 2022 and incorporated under section 8 of Companies Act, 2013 in under the department of ministry of corporate affairs, Government of india. We began our journey with the goal to impact the lives of the marginalized communities in the areas of Education, Healthcare, livelihood , youth and woman empowerment at the grassroots in the state of Karnataka and India. We work as a catalyst in the theory of change, complementing and supplementing government efforts to achieve the sustainable developmental goals. We network and collaborate with the like-minded people and organizations to achieve the larger good for the society. We are a team of passionate and like-minded people who are driven by the philosophy of giving back to the society. We strongly believe in social equality, and we want to create opportunities for all to have a better and sustainable life.

People Behind VVG Foundation

The VVGF Team comprises of people from different walks of life who have all come together with their varied experiences to work towards one mission. It includes people from diverse backgrounds including social workers, MBAs, chartered accountants, Doctors, corporate professionals, consultants etc. The team is a blend of experienced veterans and enthusiastic freshers; all put in sync with the Foundation’s core values which also drive individual thought and action. Smile endeavors to create an ambience where people have the freedom to deliver quality and take pride in their work. All the team members are also given the opportunity to connect with each other regularly. Events and activities are designed and organized to make each one feel, as much a part of the VVGF family. Briefly mentioned, VVG Foundation continuously strives to make the career for each individual personally rewarding and professionally enriching.

Our advisors team at VVG Foundation are great source of inspiration. They do an initial push, some guidance when needed, a sharing of knowledge gained through years of experience—our mentors work pro bono to help further our cause and to help us realize our full potential, individually and as an organization.
Rather than learning through trial and error, these stalwarts of industry provide our team with a safe space to explore our abilities and opportunities. National level well known personality and highly respected in field of literature and folk art. Dramatist, poet, cultural critic and fiction writer. Authored many critical works on folk theatre and literature. Awarded with many national level awards including Jnanapeetha and civilian awards – Padma Bhushan and Padmashree.

People’s Psychiatrist
Advisor
Senior professor (Retd,) psychiatry at NIMHANS. Popularly known as “People’s Psychiatrist”. Authored 300+ books and 1000+ Articles in the field of Psychiatry. Instrumental in implementing National Mental Health Programme In India. More than 75 publications published in International Journals of Psychiatry. Guiding and supporting VVGF team in organising and hosting mental health related workshops both at school and society level across Karnataka People’s Psychiatrist, Dr. C.R . Chandrashekar.
